Creative Direction

It all begins with an idea and I have been very fortunate to bring a few to life.

The following examples are a wide variety of projects that span from concept to creation.

Fast Love Hurts

Fast. Love. Hurts. These are the sounds of speed. For the all new Adizero pro, I was tasked to created a film that spoke to the raw emotion of what it means be the fastest. Rather than a high-tech approach I decided to go for an authentic execution, examining what it means to actually go fast, to feel fast, and what fast looks like.

30 years ago, an icon was born. Named after a remote peak in the Himalaya, the Nuptse was built with revolutionary warmth, encouraging some of the world’s most daring athletes to reach their pinnacle. But to truly showcase it’s legacy we wanted to show off and highlight the community and environments the Nuptse has also shown out for, off the mountain.

The 92 Nuptse

Partnering with supermodel and tech entrepreneur Karlie Kloss, we were tasked to tell the unique story of the all new Adidas WarpKnit collection. Ultimately portraying it as stylish, functional, and the perfect statement piece for any workout we documented Karlie’s seamless transition from the city to the gym and back again.

End Plastic Waste

Working with adidas Global Brand Design team to develop a visual aesthetic and language for the brands big objective of becoming fully circular and carbon neutral.

Our teams worked on developing a clear messaging framework and the identity system. The work impacts all consumer facing touch points including product, packaging and communications.

Working with Brand Design, we worked to develop an art direction that gave the work a look all it’s own. A unique and creative challenge that yielded great results.

No Distractions.

“Go time” is a state of mind that can take you from hell to heaven. From the Gunks to the Bronx, Stadiums to Sequoia’s. The challenges never disappear, how we handle them is what makes or breaks us. This campaign highlights how NFL superstar Juju Smith and legendary rock climber Nina Williams prepare for their “Go Time”. The parallels in preparation are seen subtly through their journeys while using ClimaHeat products to knock out distractions when competing in the cold.

The Castrol Rocket

376.156 mph was the speed the racer Jason DiSalvo had to beat to set a new land speed world record. Partnering with Triumph Motorcycles and Castrol Motor Oil the teams built not one but two separate land speeders to try and achieve the impossible. Part of the mission was the capture the beauty and complexity of these machines before they were sent to the salt flats.
